• From a very young age, I found freedom to be my truest self through two passions that still hold that same power for me today: art and movement. My childhood love for gymnastics, and later diving, led me to my first Ashtanga yoga class at a small studio in Columbus, Ohio in 2009. My That moment marked the start of a lifelong journey that ran parallel to my time studying art education at The Ohio State University. Those years became pivotal in shaping who I am today.

Today, with a Masters of Fine Arts in Art Education and now over a decade of experience leading yoga, I have had the gift of sharing the beauty and power of movement and creativity with many people throughout the years… From guiding pregnant women to seniors (full of wisdom); from children’s music festivals to refugees at an NGO; from American schools to teaching children in South America; each encounter, each touch or sharing of story, has enriched my own life deeply.

In 2017 these two pathways became even more intertwined when I established Abide Malas, selling handcrafted gemstone malas in small boutiques and yoga studios in Denver, Colorado, and guiding Mala Making workshops in homes and at events.

From the Rocky Mountains to Sweden, in the studio, the classroom, at a festival or event, online or teaching a private lesson in your home, my goal is to support and inspire you on your own unique journey of personal growth. I look forward to joining you as we explore creativity, wellness, and transformation together.
